Jonathon Reed, also supposedly known by other names, is an American former child psychologist, public speaker, experiencer, and contactee who is known for his alleged encounter with a nonhuman intelligent being (NHIB) and subsequent activities. He allegedly photographed and videotaped a live NHIB and its craft at close range. He allegedly stored it in his freezer at home and made further videos and recordings of the alien. Template:Experiencer As a result of the alleged incident, he produced a video shot in the forest immediately after the incident, a video of the obelisk, an audio recording of the alien, an examination video, a photograph of Freddy’s face, and other evidence.
Background
Reed was living in Washington state and allegedly working as a clinician at the University of Washington.
Initial Encounter
Main article: Jonathon Reed forest encounter Reed went for a walk in the woods. He said his dog was running ahead. The alien and Reed's dog somehow got into an altercation. The body of Lucy the dog was destroyed.
Immediate Aftermath
Reed experienced nausea, panic, intense dissociation, and created photos and videos. He used a thermal blanket to wrap the alien, picked up the link bracelet, and continued to experience intense dissociation.
Later
In the first day and the next several days, he invited his best friend Gary over and made other calls. Attempts to contact MUFON were allegedly intercepted and misdirected to agents or imposters. He reported that MIBs came to his house within days, accompanied by a police SUV. They claimed to be from "the School" and urged him to give them what he had. He reported that they were unsettling in a way he couldn't describe, and he found himself inside his house with them, not remembering letting them in after they came to his door. He told them angrily to leave. According to him, the alien healed from its head injury over the next several days and was able to heal around and actually preferred being in the freezer. Later, his house was ransacked. He claimed that Freddy remained alive and escaped and that he saw him many times in subsequent years.
Homeless Period
Reed claimed he was homeless for about a year or so, starting within weeks after the incident as a direct result. During this time, as well as subsequently after his first public interviews, Reed allegedly was a target of harassment by agents. He also alleged that several of his associates were murdered or coerced into silence.
Meeting Sympathizers and Helpers
Reed was interviewed on Art Bell in 1998.
More Stability
In interviews, Reed has spoken about the alleged murders and harassment of his sympathizers and helpers. He has also recounted his alleged shooting and live television demonstration of the link bracelet. Reed's case has been investigated by Jaime Maussan, and others have tried to debunk his claims.
Link Bracelet
Main article: Link bracelet Reed has described his use of the link bracelet, explaining its functionality and the sensation he felt in his body when it was activated. He stated that the bracelet is being kept somewhere safe. He also mentioned that others have used the bracelet, and two Russian scientists who tried it died within a week of trying it. Reed claimed that when he used the bracelet, he was teleported to another realm for an unknown amount of time. During a television demonstration, Reed appeared to disappear and reappear after a few seconds.
