J-Rods are the species of extraterrestrial being that were supposedly recovered from the 1953 Kingman, AZ UFO crash.
Appearance and physical characteristics[edit | edit source]
J-Rods resemble the classic "grey alien", although with brown skin. Engineer Arthur Stancil described one of them as about four feet tall, human-like, with dark brown skin.[1] Dan Crain likewise describes another individual that he encountered as dark brown and about three and a half feet tall, with long arms with four long fingers, a disproportionately large head with respect to the rest of his body, very large black eyes, a recessed nose, and a very small mouth with no teeth.[2]
However, according to Crain, they are not aliens, in the sense of beings that originated on another planet, but human beings from the future, which established colonies in outer space and mutated to their present appearance.
Name[edit | edit source]
The name "J-Rod" is a nickname given by US military researchers. During an attempt to communicate with a captured J-Rod by pointing to symbols on a chart, it indicated the letter J and an 'inertial bar' symbol which resembled a rod. The researchers thought it might be trying to indicate its name or species and nicknamed it "J-Rod". Crain has stated that this was a misunderstanding and that the being was trying to indicate that it had come from a base 15 light-years away.[2]

The alleged history of the J-Rods is complicated to describe, as it involves time travel.
Disaster in 2012[edit | edit source]
According to information given by the J-Rods before 2012, the J-Rods' history began in 2012 when a disaster struck the Earth, possibly due to the "Looking-Glass device" being used too frequently during a particular alignment of the Earth with other celestial bodies. Crain claims that this disaster was averted partly through the information given to the US government by the J-Rods. Since the disaster did not happen, the status of the J-Rods is in doubt, as, if their account was true, they now come from a future that did not happen.
24,000 years into the future[edit | edit source]
By this time, the J-Rods had apparently invented time travel technology. Crain says that he was told at Area 51 that the craft that crashed at Roswell was a P24 craft.[2]
47,000 years into the future[edit | edit source]
Some P-45K J-Rods travelled back in time to attempt to bring about the disaster that led to the creation of their timeline. They also abducted humans for genetic sampling, partly in an attempt to find a cure for various kinds of genetic degeneration that they were suffering from.
52,000 years into the future[edit | edit source]
The J-Rods of this era, with their DNA degenerating even more, believed that it would have been better if the disaster had never happened. They travelled back in time in an attempt to prevent the disaster.
