In accordance with our vision for this website, pages that already exist on Wikipedia should ideally be copied and pasted (exported and then imported) along with their templates, etc. and then modified by adding good content, removing bad content, etc. This way, the article contains at least all of the information about the subject that Wikipedia does, hopefully appropriately contextualized. Seems like he was not what we've called an insider, more what we have called an investigator or amateur investigator. Not that categorization or characterization of this kind is paramount. That said, he apparently was leaked probably genuine sensitive secrets, did his own asking around, and was ultimately among the alleged "civilian" or originally-not-involved/stumbled-upon-a-secret [[victim]]s of the alleged [[secret government]].

Changing to incorporate Wikipedia content[edit source]

Ideally, this article would probably contain at least all of the information about the subject that Wikipedia does, hopefully appropriately contextualized. We don't yet have a prescribed process for adapting a Wikipedia article, but maybe we should. That might involve importing or duplicating the article, along with its templates, etc., and then modifying it by adding good content, removing bad content, combining it with the current contents, including sources, and potentially using an LLM or something similar.

However, because of the very different way this article and the Wikipedia article might present their subject matter, it may not be possible for this article to be worded in a way that places it in the same "terminological universe" as the Wikipedia article. For example, terms like disinformation, conspiracy, conspiracy theory, etc., might have different applications and encompassings here, with variations in qualifications, hedgings, and descriptors for things like "alleged," "claimed," and so forth. Insider account infobox[edit source]

Should Bennewitz have an insider account Infobox? I.e. is he an insider or merely someone that had information leaked to him (i.e. a journalist/investigator rather than insider)? EnWikiAdmin (talk) 03:11, 14 November 2024 (UTC)

Seems like he was not what we've called an insider, more what we have called an investigator or amateur investigator. Not that categorization or characterization of this kind is paramount. That said, he apparently was leaked probably genuine sensitive secrets, did his own asking around, and was ultimately among the alleged "civilian" or originally-not-involved/stumbled-upon-a-secret victims of the alleged secret government.
