Ikwipedia:Synthesis and interpretation of source material

Editors may editorialize, to a limited extent, on claims made by or found within acceptable sources for the purpose of noting patterns, providing contextual clarity and caveats, or other helpful information. This should be limited and distinguished from the source’s original statements. Where primary sources differ widely in interpretation, the article should present these perspectives without bias. Articles should provide the full complement of the breadth of interpretations and reactions to testimonial claims and primary-source and secondary-source analyses and presentations of evidence. By being transparent about the origin of factual claims, we aim to strengthen the integrity of our content. Articles should provide citations for all claims sourced from primary sources, including, for example, timestamps for specific claims in audio and video recordings of spoken language. Our standards align with our mission to document noteworthy topics by drawing information from published testimonial transparency. Ensure that source links or references are accessible, and, if possible, provide alternate access points if the main link becomes unavailable.
