Extraterrestrial being
An extraterrestrial being, also known as an extraterrestrial or space alien, is a being that originates beyond Earth. Extraterrestrial beings are distinct from terrestrial humans, cryptoterrestrials (including subterranean nonhuman intelligent beings), and covert extraterrestrials, but they may overlap with non-human intelligent beings (see Terminology).
Extraterrestrial beings are described as inhabiting celestial bodies (including artificial celestial bodies such as planets or moons od regions of interplanetary space. They range from relatively simple organisms (including those classified under biological life) to advanced non-human intelligent beings with diverse forms, cultures, and abilities. Some are described as strictly biological, while others are described as non-biological or cybernetic entities.
