It looks like, it dismisses Proofs of a Conspiracy's claims that the Illuminati or even their political ideas and their tactics survived into the 19th century out of hand with no explanation or evidence except a single reference to a historian - it'd make sense to give a bit more indication of the reasons for and against than that, I don't know what they are myself but other people can attempt to do it if they like.
